ALPHA VETERINARY CLINIC POLICY REGARDING CLIENT and PATIENT CARE
DURING COVID 19 VIRUS OUTBREAK
UPDATE 6/9/20
We are currently providing care and service to our established patients. Please monitor our website for changes to policies as they occur.
Thank you,
Doctors and Alpha Veterinary Clinic Staff
We would like to share the strategies outlined below to minimize staff and client interaction during this time of COVID 19 outbreak in order to safeguard clients and staff AND follow State guidelines for maintaining an open business.
To minimize risking client care, we are doing the following:
- Maintaining a six-foot distance between clients and staff as much as possible.
- Enhancing our already stringent cleaning policy for surfaces and personnel.
- We request that if you are feeling poorly or have a dry cough or fever in the last month, that someone else bring in pet.
- We are endeavoring to have all doctor – client interaction be accomplished by phone or a 6-foot distance as dictated by circumstances during patient care.
Where applicable, we will accept photos or videos and the doctor can review and speak to client during appointment time by phone. Please send photos and videos prior to the appointment to frontdesk@alphavetbeavercreek.com (established clients only).
We are allowing clients to enter the building in the lobby area to drop pet off for appointment or pick up medications. We are limiting the number of clients allowed in the building at one time. Please call the office when you arrive (937) 426-9232 and we will let you know when you can enter the building for drop off or pick up.
MEDICATION REFILLS
All refills that can be approved, FOR CHRONIC MEDICATIONS, will be issued through our online pharmacy within 24 hours and mailed to clients within 3 to 5 days. Please email your prescription request to frontdesk@alphavetbeavercreek.com.
MEDICATION PICK UP
Please call our office at 937-426-9232 when you arrive for medication pick up. Clients can enter the lobby to pay and pick up medications upon arrival.
