Dr. Janet Langenderfer
Dr. Janet Langenderfer was born & raised in the Miami Valley, with strong family ties to the area. She is a lifetime animal lover, and she has obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Miami University and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ohio State University. Dr. Langenderfer has always practiced in Ohio, almost exclusively in Beavercreek/Dayton, and has been a beloved and trusted veterinarian at Alpha Veterinary Clinic for over two decades. Her professional interests are clinical and internal medicine (chronic and challenging medical cases). All of her clients and staff would agree that she enjoys working with dogs & cats of all kinds, but she does have a special fondness for greyhounds & black kitties.
Dr. Holly Gossett
Dr. Holly Gossett graduated from Ohio State University in 1991 after receiving the Excellence in Small Animal Surgery Award and an IAMS Scholarship for authoring an article on Colitis in Dogs. She then completed an additional year of training at Michigan State University, completing her internship in Small Animal Surgery and Medicine in 1992. For the next ten years, she practiced in a specialty/referral practice in Albuquerque, NM, and developed skill in the use of diagnostic ultrasound in dogs and cats. She then pursued an interest in emergency medicine in the Dayton area for five years before returning to her main area of interest: caring for family pets with compassion and skill to enhance the quality of their life in health and illness. She enjoys equestrian activities, raising and training Spinone Italiano, reading and relaxing with her family.
Dr. Debra Bishop
Dr. Debra Bishop is a 1983 cum laude graduate of Wright State University with Honors in Genetics and a 1988 cum laude graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a member of Phi Zeta Veterinary Honor Society. Dr. Bishop continued her education after graduation completing a small animal medicine and surgery internship at the West Los Angeles Veterinary Group from 1988 to 1989.
Dr. Bishop has practiced small animal referral emergency medicine for over 18 years. She retired from Emergency medicine to do small animal general practice in 2012. Her professional interests include internal medicine and disaster medicine.
Dr. Bishop lives on a farm in New Carlisle with her husband, two cats, and two horses. Her hobbies include trail-riding, music, literature and outdoor gardening.
Dr. Lisa Roth
Dr. Lisa Roth graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in Zoology in 1993. She continued at Ohio State receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. She has worked in the Dayton area for over twenty years. She enjoys gardening, swimming, hiking, and spending time with her husband and son. She currently has two dogs and three cats. Alpha Veterinary Clinic is excited to offer her professional services to our patients beginning April 3, 2019.
